How Often to Use: Feed outdoor plants with Black Magic Organic Nutrients once a month. Houseplants should be fed every other month. It can also be used for seed starting once seedlings have their first set of true leaves.

To get the most out of nutrients, plants form a symbiotic relationship with microbes. A healthy microbial network breaks down nutrients so your plant can thrive.

Add the Base: Add Organic Potting Soil to the bottom third of your container, making sure the pot has drainage.
Mix In Microbes: Work the Organic Microbes packet into the soil, making sure it contacts your plant's root system.
Set the Plant: Center your plant in the pot and fill the remaining soil around it, pressing gently to settle it.
Feed the Soil: Shake the Organic Nutrients packet onto the soil surface and mix it in.
Water Thoroughly: Water until you see drainage from the bottom of the container; this activates the entire system at once

How To Start

Step 1

Prep Your Soil

Place your soil in a tub or bowl to help keep things clean. Add a small amount of water to the soil and mix for better handling. When it’s packable, your soil is ready.

Step 2

Prep Your Plant

Work around the edges of the plant with a trowel or pocket knife to smoothly remove it. Gently remove the plant and loosen depleted soil from the root ball. Discard depleted soil.

Step 3

Lay The Foundation

Fill the pot 1/3 of the way up with your soil. Aim to leave 1-2 inches of headspace between the plant base and the rim of the pot.

Step 4

Connect The Network

Apply microbes to the center of the soil base layer. Place your plant on top of the microbes, ensuring maximal root contact. Backfill soil around the plant, maintaining the soil line.

Step 5

Feed The Ecosystem

Apply nutrients evenly on the top of the soil around the plant base. With your fingers, gently work nutrients into the top 1-2 inches of the soil. Water thoroughly until it runs from the drainage holes. Save extra soil for future use. Check the soil dampness daily and water as needed. Feed your soil every other month. Repot your plant when it begins to outgrow your current pot.
